Shaving for women for hair removal

Shaving is best for leg, arm, and facial hair. It can, though, cause ingrown hairs, especially in the pubic region.

Shaving is the cheapest method of hair removal and just needs a razor and a shave oil or lotion. It is also fast and thus is very convenient to do it at home.

Shaving in the direction of hairs reduces cuts. It does not change color, texture or growth of the hair as is normally believed. Remember any cut can leave marks that may take time to go away.

Shaving does not impact the hair follicle.


Use shaving cream to reduce irritation while shaving. It is more hydrating than soap or other options and hence less painful.

If you do not want to use any lotion or creams before shaving then wet the hair with water. You can do this in shower also. Trimming it with scissors if it is long also helps.

The razors for women are separate than males and are shaped differently for easy glide and avoid cuts. The razor should be changed frequently and whenever you need to apply extra pressure to shave.

After shaving use a balm or lotion as a disinfectant. Avoid any alcohol based product as that can cause redness.

In the genitals or pubic area or armpits, hair that grows back will be hard. And it will be very painful in these regions
